How To Store Your Shoes And How To Prevent Them From Accumulating Dust
Those who have a lot of shoes and a small house suffer from the following dilemma: lack of space to store shoes! If you go through this, you know what we’re talking about – and you probably find yourself leaving some of them scattered around the rooms because you don’t have a place to put everything. However, leaving your sneakers, sandals, or flip-flops in any corner is not the best measure to keep your organization up to date or to preserve your shoes. That’s why we’ve prepared a list of some alternative locations so you can keep everything in order without breaking your head. Check out!
1 – Under The Bed
In the absence of space to store your shoes, you can use the underside of your bed (yes!). In this way, they are not disorganized and in sight of visitors – and, even though they are not in a proper place, they are not unprotected, in an area where they can be stepped on by anyone who is distracted. Just be careful to sweep and mop the area to remove excess dust before putting on your shoes.
2 – Door Organizer Shoe Rack
Did you know that a shoe rack or shoe box (กล่องรองเท้า which is the term in Thai) is perfect for those who don’t have more space at home? It’s the so-called door organizer shoe rack – which, as the name implies, is glued to the door so you don’t have to reserve an area just for the furniture. You can place them, for example, in your bedroom so that they are in a more private area of the house.
3 – Use Fair Boxes
Another trick to organizing shoes is to separate some fair boxes to put all of them. If you have space near the shoe rack, you can leave everything in the same area for even better organization; otherwise, put it in the corner of any other room. And here’s the tip to give your home decor a boost: bet on customizing the boxes!
4 – Leave The Flip-Flops In A Basket
If you have a lot of flip-flops, a space-saving trick is to put them all in a big basket – since, because of the rubber material they are made of, they don’t run the risk of spoiling if they stay together and in a horizontal position. In this way, you leave the shoe rack or the other solutions already mentioned only for the other shoes and accommodate the basket in any corner – even inside the wardrobe – to facilitate your organization.
5 – Pet Bottles Can Help With Storage
Shoes and flip-flops can also be stored inside the wardrobe so you can free up space in the shoe rack. To do this, it’s very simple: the tip is to cut the “mouth” of the PET bottles to make a kind of little pot and separate one for each pair of shoes.
